Daniel (Danny) Schwartz, a member of the OBA's E-Discovery Implementation Committee, will be speaking at a joint OBA, Advocates' Society and Law Society of Upper Canada conference: The Ontario e-Discovery Institute: e-Discovery for All Cases and All Lawyers.

Danny's talk will focus on how lawyers can use the OBA's Model E-Discovery Precedents to effectively deal with e-discovery issues.

Danny Schwartz Appointed Chair of YASC for 2011-2012 Term
Daniel (Danny) Schwartz has been appointed Chair of the Young Advocates' Standing Committee ("YASC") of the Advocates' Society.

YASC strives to promote civility and professionalism amongst young advocates.

It organizes a variety of initiatives including:

Fall Forum - the preimer education, mentoring and networking conference for junior advocates;

Pub Nights  - a regular networking and social opportunity for junior advocates;

Wine and Cheese with the Bench  - a unique opportunity for junior advocates to meet members of the judiciary in a relaxed and informal setting;

Mentoring Progrms - The annual Mentoring Dinner Series and Advocates' Society Mentoring Program are two important initiatives that YASC is involed with;
